Low or No-Cost Screen Readers

Not everyone can afford to purchase JAWs. We have found some open source versions of screen-reader software that may work fine if you are simply looking at web pages, or doing a few things on a computer using the Windows operating system - for example typing a Word document.

Windows Vista Voice-to-Text

If you have trouble typing due to limited vision, you can use your Windows Vista computer without a mouse or keyboard - with the additional of a cheap headset microphone you can dictate rather than type.
