Distance Learning Classrooms
The Distance Learning Center is responsible for the scheduling of all interactive video (ITV) classrooms. Each ITV room:
- Can be cross-connected to any other ITV room or remote site. All rooms are capable of transmitting and receiving up to full T1 (1.5 Mbps), ISDN dial-up (64 to 384 Kbps) or IP video call (1 Mbps).
- Can be connected in a point-to-point or a multi-point conference to any of our ITV classrooms on the UTSA video network or to any compatible H.320 or H.323 remote site.
- Is designed to deliver distance-learning classes, conduct videoconferences, capture class lectures for streaming video or receive satellite downlink transmissions over our extensive interactive video network. All rooms are fully integrated with multi-media technology for the presenter and participants.
