Blackboard (formally WebCT Management)

The use of Blackboard (formally know as WebCT) as an Internet based instructional tool has grown dramatically in recent years. This year over 1325 courses will have some web-based instructional components. There are over 22,180 registered UTSA students accessing course information asynchronously via WebCT @ UTSA.

Blackboard provides a secured location where faculty can place course materials, such as the class syllabus, assignments, lectures, quizzes, test, and presentations. Blackboard has built-in communication tools to facilitate interaction between faculty and students, such as a bulletin board, chat room, email, and calendar.

We now have a Blackboard associate for each university college. Our associates can aid you in creating and managing your Blackboard course along with answering any other questions about Blackboard.
